Inari Okami

I created a little representation on 3D of the ancient Fushimi Inari Taisha. I'm grandly would like to visit it in person, i hope that i will in the future.

Fushimi Inari is a sanctuary dedicated to the Inari spirit(稲荷), for the Shintoism inari is the goddess of the rice, fertility and businesses. Before entering into the sanctuary you need to cross the torii(鳥居).

The torii is a gate, the gateway to the sacred precinct of a Shinto shrine.
Past the door, there are two foxes guarding the main hall, the name of this foxes it's Kitsune(狐), don't forget to bow before crossing.

The road was built thanks to the merchants who donate his torii, the reason is to ask the Inari goddess for prosperity in their businesses.

Curious fact: Today in the Fushimi Inari Taisha are more than 10,000 torii!!!
